Here's all the remix and re-edit volume 1 tracks in one ep, tracks reworked that would never get an official release. Send us feedback good or bad, we'd love to hear from you.
Bobby's Groove.
So, first up is an amazing re-edit of, in our opinion a classic Bobby Thurston track - 'You Got What It Takes'. We've kept it at the original 9 and a half minutes for a start, kept the groove and part of the vocal, turning it into a proper little earworm. Enjoy!
Shake It To The Ground.
Wanted a 'housier' version of this classic from Blaqstarr and we think Lee Wraith has delivered the goods and then some. Bounces along nicely keeping most of the vocals which other remixes didn't. Thumping bass and arp running in the background and massive call out snares. Works it!
Red Hand Gang.
As you'll hear the elephant in the room almost immediately, the vocal ahhh's from Depeche Mode's Shake The Disease are the reason this track is featured here. Rest of this is 100% original, a stripped back low-slung 909/303 acid chugger, gets dirtier as it goes on. Quality!
Intimidated.
Korowai HQ loved the original as soon as we heard it and felt a tasteful rework could speed it up a little without losing the tracks overall integrity. As before most of the vocals kept in, beefed / housed up the drums making it slap.
Early worldwide promo love on this one has had some lovely support from Lenny Fontana, Moodymanc, Severino (Horse Meat Disco), Don Diablo, Nic Fanciulli, Purple Disco Machine, Jamie Jones, Brandon Block & more.
